Bush Kindy
At The Village, we have lots of space to play and explore the outdoors. Our Discovery Garden gives the children a chance to learn about the natural environment and the Adventure Forest allows them to take risks and challenge themselves.
Decor Garden Centre
Our Tots love discovering Décor Garden Centre, just next door to The Village. The children love wandering through the rows of colourful plants, touching the different leaves, and smelling the flowers. It is a beautiful hands-on way to connect with nature, observe colours, textures, and life growing all around them.
Community Garden
Tamariki at The Village love getting their hands dirty in our local Community Garden. Each child helps care for our plot — planting, watering, watching their seedlings grow, and proudly harvesting fresh kai. They learn first-hand about life cycles, sustainability, and healthy eating. It’s a beautiful way to connect with nature, nurture responsibility, and celebrate the rewards of patience and teamwork.
Kelly Sports
Our preschool tamariki enjoy active, fun-filled sessions with Kelly Sports, developing coordination, confidence, and teamwork through movement and play — all while keeping fit and having a great time! This is on every term and coach Anish brings new ideas and games each week.
Mobile Library Bus
Our tamariki love their regular visits from the Mobile Library, where stories come to life right at The Village. These sessions spark imagination, nurture a love of reading, and connect children with the joy of books and storytelling. This is located down at The Vines and is on every second week.
